Terms of Use

Morsl · Operated by Snowy Ghost LLC · Last updated July 21, 2026

Welcome to Morsl, a mobile app for discovering and rating individual dishes at restaurants and sharing those opinions with friends. Morsl is operated by Snowy Ghost LLC (“Snowy Ghost,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using Morsl, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Who can use Morsl

You must be at least 13 years old to use Morsl. By using the app you confirm that you are 13 or older and that you are able to enter into these Terms. Morsl is not directed to children under 13.

Your account

You sign in with Sign in with Apple and choose a username and profile details. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your device secure. You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete Account); doing so permanently removes your account, profile, and the content you have posted.

Your content

Morsl lets you post content — ratings, written reviews, photos, lists, comments, and profile information (together, “User Content”). You keep ownership of your User Content. By posting it, you grant Snowy Ghost a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content within Morsl for the purpose of operating and improving the app. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained in routine backups for a limited period or as required by law.

You are responsible for your User Content and confirm that you have the right to post it, including any photographs you upload.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior

Morsl has zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, violent, sexually explicit, or that infringes others’ rights, and not to impersonate others, spam, or upload images that are not genuine food, dining, or restaurant photos. You agree not to harass, abuse, or harm other people.

To keep the community safe we use automated content screening: photos and review text are checked by an automated system before they become visible to others, and content that appears objectionable or off-topic is withheld or removed. You can also report objectionable content or block abusive users from within the app. We review reports and act on objectionable content and abusive users — typically removing the content and/or ejecting the user — and we aim to act on reports within 24 hours. Because screening is automated it is not perfect; the report and block tools are there for anything it misses.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app: no attempting to access other users’ data, no reverse-engineering or disrupting the service, no automated scraping, and no using Morsl to violate any law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Ratings and reviews

Ratings, reviews, and AI-generated summaries on Morsl reflect the personal opinions of users and an automated summary of those opinions. They are not statements of fact by Snowy Ghost about any restaurant or dish and should not be relied on as such. Dietary indicators are sourced from restaurants’ published menu markings and may be incomplete or out of date — always confirm directly with the restaurant if you have an allergy or dietary requirement.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Morsl is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snowy Ghost will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us (if any) in the past twelve months or twenty-five U.S. dollars.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of Morsl after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
